「convoluted railroad diagram in the documentation」ってSQLリファレンスとかのあの図のことだろうな。たしかにあれだけ見てもよくわからん。
昔、今までOracle使ったことないのにあの図見てサクサクSQL書いている人がいた。詳しいことは知らないけど、元々LISP使ってAIの研究してた人だった。おつむが違うんだろうな。
ちょっと話がそれるけど、コンピュータ・サイエンスの基礎ができているのも大切だなと思う。その人は「おつむがすごく良い」+「基礎ができている」んだろうな。「おつむは悪い」+「基礎ができている」を目指したいな。

で、Kevin Closson 氏が役に立つブログなどを紹介してくれているので、いただき。ORACLE-BASE 以外は見たことないや。
